Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Morse Code Audio (the "Service"), a free, browser-based Morse code translator and audio toolset. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Morse Code Audio provides tools to convert text to and from Morse code, play and download Morse audio, and learn Morse code. The tools run in your web browser. We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems.
- Interfere with or circumvent advertising, security, or analytics that support the Service.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service at scale or present it as your own.
3. No professional or emergency reliance
The Service is provided for general, educational, and hobbyist use. It is not intended for use in emergencies, safety-critical situations, professional maritime or aviation signalling, or any context where errors could cause harm. Do not rely on the Service where accuracy or availability is critical.
4. Advertising
The Service is supported by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense and potentially other ad networks. By using the Service you acknowledge that ads may be displayed and that ad partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the websites they link to. Interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. International Morse code itself is a public standard. You may use the tools and reference material for personal and educational purposes. You may not copy our branding or source presentation to pass off a competing service as ours.
6. User content
Any text you enter is processed locally in your browser and is your responsibility. You retain ownership of your content. Because we do not receive or store the text you enter, you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you wish to save.
7. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services (such as hosting, analytics, and advertising). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that audio output will be precise for any particular use.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morse Code Audio and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Morse Code Audio and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless local mandatory consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be raised through the website. Please also review our Privacy Policy.
